The U14 Girls Futsal Team played in the County Futsal Finals on Tuesday 9th January at Whitecross, Hereford. After being crowned County Champions, Regional Champions and then National Finalists in their first year at EMC back in 2016, they felt a little bit of pressure going into this years finals.

EMC’s first match of the evening was against St Marys and EMC started extremely well finishing with a 10-2 win. The girls next match was Bishops, a game we knew as going to be a little bit harder. EMC started well, going 2-0 up. Bishops made a come back scoring 1 in the middle part of the game but EMC finished strong and won the game 2-1. This win took EMC into the County Final versus Fairfield. EMC took an early lead and continued to lead throughout, finishing 3-0.

The girls will now go on to represent Herefordshire in the Regional Finals.
