Addaction is a British charity founded in 1967 that supports people to make positive behavioural changes, most notably with alcohol and drug misuse, and mental health. In 2017 they set up a new office in Leominster in addition to their base in Hereford. Young people and families can access support online here.
Herefordshire Young Carers support children and young people whose life is impacted by the responsibility of care for an adult or sibling. Young people and families can access support online here.
Venture Community Services provide home-based services through many programmes in support of young people and families in and around Leominster. Their website can be accessed here.
The Supported Housing for Young People Project (SHYPP) provides 16 – 25 year olds across Herefordshire with housing, training and employment opportunities. They provide a range of accommodation suitable for young people at different stages of their lives including foyer accommodation, move on flats, shared houses and supported lodgings. SHYPP wants to give Young People the opportunity to develop independent living skills, identify their talents and go on to live happy and successful lives. SHYPP can be accessed online here.
Triple P, the parenting programme proven to work. Triple P is the flexible, practical way to develop skills, strategies and confidence to handle any parenting situation. It’s backed by decades of research and it’s already helped more than 4 million children and their parents. Parents can access their online support here.
